Dappa: A Live Wedding band in Staffordshire
From converted barns to grand country estates, Staffordshire has quietly become one of the Midlands’ favourite counties for weddings, offering couples a mix of countryside charm and easy access for guests travelling from further afield. A Dappa set can unfold in two parts across the evening. Things begin with an acoustic performance, led by acoustic guitar and double bass, taking in festival favourites from George Ezra and Mumford & Sons to Dolly Parton and Avicii. It is the ideal soundtrack for drinks on the lawn or guests settling into the reception space after the ceremony, setting a relaxed tone before the evening properly gets going.
Later on, the band switches to a full electric line up, working through well loved pop, rock and soul tracks that keep the dancefloor busy right up until curfew. It is this shift in energy across the night, paired with genuine stage presence, that guests tend to remember long after the wedding is over.
