With the Peak District on its doorstep and some of the country’s most characterful barns, mills and country houses tucked into its countryside, Derbyshire has become one of the most popular counties for couples planning a wedding to remember. Dappa’s live sound was built for exactly this kind of celebration. Loved for their energetic performances at weddings and private parties, the band brings genuine talent, strong reviews and years of experience to every booking. Their full wedding band service is designed to take the pressure off, covering your day from start to finish.
Every Dappa performance can be split into two halves, giving your wedding two distinct musical chapters. The evening opens with the band’s acoustic set, built around acoustic guitar and double bass, taking in favourites from Mumford & Sons and George Ezra alongside Dolly Parton and Avicii. It is a warm, relaxed way to move guests from the wedding breakfast into the evening celebrations, whether you are saying your vows in a converted stone barn or an elegant country house setting.
Once the sun goes down, Dappa switch to their full electric line up, taking the energy up several notches with a set spanning pop, rock and soul. This is where the dancefloor properly fills, and stays that way until the very last song.
