Shropshire’s rolling hills, historic market towns and beautifully converted countryside venues make it one of the most sought after wedding destinations in the UK, and Dappa’s warm, feel good sound fits the setting perfectly. This popular wedding band is loved for its joyful live performances at weddings and private celebrations, with glowing reviews and a wealth of experience behind every show.
A Dappa wedding performance can be split into two parts, giving your evening two different atmospheres to enjoy. Guests are first welcomed with the band’s acoustic set, featuring acoustic guitar and double bass, working through much loved songs by artists like Mumford and Sons and George Ezra, along with warm, folk inspired versions of tracks by Dolly Parton and Avicii. It is a relaxed, feel good way to bring your wedding breakfast to a close and ease guests into the evening ahead, whether you are celebrating in a converted barn, a walled garden or the grounds of a grand country house.
As the evening progresses, the band switches to a full electric line up, playing through decades of pop, rock and soul favourites. Full of energy and charm, this is the part of the night that fills the dancefloor and keeps it full until last orders.
